Currently, less than half the individuals suffering with eating disorders, reach full recovery.They affect not only physical health but also emotional and psychological well-being, often causing long-term consequences if left untreated. It’s essential that we spread awareness about the true reality of experiencing an eating disorder.
Around 1.25 million people in the UK suffer from these eating disorders, and many in secret.
These can include bulimia, binge eating disorder, avoidant/restrictive food intake disorder, other specified feeding or eating disorder, and anorexia.
